WAEL Kaawach, MD, MBA

Dr. Wael Kaawach completed Bachelor of Medical Biology with First Class Honors followed by his Medical Degree at The University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
Dr. Kaawach then finished his residency and fellowship at the Harvard University Orthopaedic Surgery Program. After which he joined The Harvard Medical School Faculty as an Instructor and Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery, and later appointed as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Boston VA Healthcare System. He earned a Commendation Award from the US Department of Veteran Affairs and has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals.
While in Boston, he managed to obtain an MBA in Healthcare Management; during which and upon his return to Jeddah, he was a cofounder, Board Member and Chief Medical Officer of the International Medical Center (IMC). He was instrumental in many aspects of the IMC's development, partnerships and staff recruitment.
Currently, he is the CEO of The Healthcare Development Holding Company (HDH). Since HDH inception in 2008, has eleven subsidiary companies and five international affiliations that are specialized in various healthcare focused businesses with projects in Saudi Arabia and the region. It also has an affiliation with Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, USA (CCF) that resulted in the first Cleveland Clinic Global Solutions (CCGS) office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He has an interest in healthcare quality programs, and was a team member of the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) while at the Boston VA healthcare system.
HAMDAN Matar, CPA, ASCA, SAA
Corporate Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Matar graduated from the faculty of Administration Science at King Saud University with class honors. He is a seasoned CFO with proven record of establishing cross-functional partnerships and delivering stellar results. Mr. Matar is a resourceful financial professional with over 25 years of solid experience in financial and investment management, covering a wide range of roles during his career.
Additionally, Mr. Matar has a solid experience as an external auditor with deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the applicable laws and regulations. He has extensively attained knowledge in the Industrial, Manufacturing, Trading and Healthcare Sectors.
During his tenure at HDH, he demonstrated ability to quickly grasp intricacies of diverse industries to fulfil the vision of the company. With his extensive professional experience and significant leadership accomplishments, he acts as an ambassador for the organization and serves as a trusted advisor to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Matar is known for unique qualities of integrity, credibility and a passion for progress to strategic governance efforts. He effectively played a vital role in the company’s strategic planning and helped in successfully leading HDH to be one of the Healthcare Leaders in KSA.
KHALDOUN Al-Sabbagh, MD
Director of Health care Administration

Dr. Al-Sabbagh is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Aleppo University, Syria in 1986. After specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, He practiced medicine in various hospitals in Syria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, holding different leadership positions during this period.
His passion to Medical Administration created a shift in his career. Starting as a Medical Director at Erfan and Bagedo Hospital, Jeddah for over ten years with various responsibilities covering the Inpatient and Ambulatory Care areas, and later as a Medical Director of the hospital. This gave Dr. Al-Sabbagh the depth of understanding and a vast skill set in maximizing utilization and optimizing care in a very busy healthcare setting.
Dr. Al-Sabbagh was then picked as the Chief Executive Officer of the International Modern Hospital (IMH) in Dubai, UAE, where he helped in building hospital systems and readiness leading to its successful inauguration and later international quality accreditation. During his tenure at IMH, he overlooked all aspects of administrative, financial and medical operations.
After that, Dr. Al-Sabbagh moved to the International Medical Center (IMC) in Jeddah as the Chief Administrative Officer, where he was responsible for building corporate partnerships with Insurance companies and semi-governmental corporates. Under his leadership, IMC enjoyed a historical leap in operations and revenues as well as positioning it as a major player in the Saudi health market.
Currently, Dr. Al-Sabbagh is the Director of Health care Administration, responsible for liaising medical services with brokerage, insurance companies and providers as well as supervising the healthcare provision services within the network.
EIAD Al Saba, BSc
Corporate Business Development Director

As a Corporate Business Development Director, Mr. Al Saba is responsible for creating and expanding business opportunities for the group and its subsidiaries. His work involves identifying and evaluating health care opportunities that suits HDH’s vision and expansion outlook, supervising due-diligence studies, liaising feasibility analysis and planning merger and acquisition deals. He is directly involved with the subsidiaries in identifying and expanding markets within their scope.
Mr. Al Saba also oversees HDH’s Project Management Office, where he is involved in the planning and implementation of different projects, covering all the major phases of HDH operational framework from evaluation, planning, setup and monitoring after maturity.
Mr. Al Saba is backed by 15 years of diverse experience in health care. He started with the marketing team of the pharmaceutical giant, NOVARTIS Pharma AG, then joined International Medical Center as the External Relations Director, where he managed the development of various programs and services such as the International Patients Program, Customer Loyalty Program, event management and contracting activities. He was then appointed as a Project Manager to direct and monitor expansion projects for the International Medical Center Company, such as the International Extended Care Center, a 174 bed healthcare facility and IMC Reinstatement Project in addition to many other projects within the center.
Eiad is a Certified Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA with multiple senior management skills course. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from IPU, Jordan.
AHMED Zeidan, IFRS Cert., IAS Cert., CIC
Corporate Financial Planner

Mr. Zeidan has a profound track record as a corporate financial planner and as an external auditor. His established ability to provide key financial data, support subsidiaries financial planning to assist their fundamental business decisions. He effectively communicates financial information to non-finance associates and ensures corporate obligations are met.
Mr. Zeidan Joined HDH as a Corporate Financial planner. His role encompassed assisting in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the company's vision. Reporting to the CFO on strategic financial plans & analytics, Mr. Zeidan supports the company in diligently monitoring subsidiaries’ performance as well as providing insights for financial decisions. Among his responsibilities, Mr. Zeidan reviews budgets and forecasts, ensuring that management decisions and corporate obligations are met across the group. He also develops and analyzes financial information to assess the current and future financial status and profitability.
Mr. Zeidan has an extensive experience as an external auditor extending over twelve years both regionally and internationally. During his tenure as an auditor, he acquired extensive knowledge in the fields of auditing covering clients whose operations ranged in various aspects of businesses i.e. manufacturing, trading, communication and construction. These businesses where located over a wide geographical area that included Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Throughout his experience, he audited several multinational clients, which required a reconciliation from local GAAP to both IFRS and US GAAP. Besides his professional degree, he attended various technical and specialized courses in strategic planning, budgeting, financial valuation models, IFRS Baseline, IT General Controls and its applications, Judgment & Estimates. His training has given him the dominance to attain extensive knowledge in various business markets and industries that included Health care, manufacturing, trading, communication and construction sectors. During this time, he creatively managed risks that fully complied with the generally applicable accepted auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles and applicable laws and regulation.
